The Erker Brothers are playing at Cedar Creek in New Haven, MO, on Saturday, 2/28/26, in the Event Barn and you are invited!
We know what you’re thinking and we are asking ourselves the same exact questions:
Is it true that if I find a baby bird that needs care I shouldn’t touch it because the mama will smell my scent or something and not tend to her baby anymore?
I see a lovely butterfly floating in front of me and it gently alights on my outstretched palm. Can I touch its wings or does that mess up its ability to fly?
Are the beautiful creatures called the Erker Brothers actually brothers? And is it true that at least one of them was conceived at Cedar Creek in a night of wild passion (and within the bonds of marriage) over 40 years ago?
True.
No touching.
Some are. Yes, but we’re not saying who.
You see, some things are just too beautiful and precious to get your grubby little hands on. Some things have to be experienced. And that’s why we are thrilled to kick off the 2026 Cedar Creek Concert Series with the Erker Brothers! So keep those little baby birds where they are. Drop that butterfly net. Pause the conception. Open your ears and shake out that stanky leg for dancing because you are invited to an all inclusive night of music and entertainment, an open bar, and a chef prepared banquet for you and all the lovelies you decide to bring along for this wonderful night of revelry. If you enjoy grown men who sing like baby angels then this is the night for you!
All event tickets sold include all of the above. If you decide to book a room, (2) event tickets are included per room as well as a full breakfast in Town Hall the following day. Not too shabby! But you’ll need to act fast as rooms will sell out!

Band Bio:
The Erker Brothers is a collective of longtime friends and musicians rooted in St. Louis, Missouri, bonded by more than 25 years of shared stages, side projects, and musical cross-pollination. The band features Neil Erker (guitar, vocals), Kevin Erker (piano, vocals), JL Drew (guitar, vocals), Tom Schmidt (bass), and Matt Hennessey (drums)—each a seasoned player who has played together in various configurations for decades.
Musically, The Erker Brothers live at the crossroads of rock, indie, alt-country, Americana, and jam, blending strong songwriting with the looseness and trust of musicians who know how to take risks together. Their sets move fluidly between originals—many born during their time in the Chicago rock band Portable Models—and reimagined covers that instantly transport listeners back to the soundtracks of their teens, twenties, and thirties. Neil, JL, and Kevin previously played together in Portable Models, while Neil Erker and Matt Hennessey continue to perform with the Chicago-based band Many Places, keeping their creative energy sharp and evolving.
What truly sets The Erker Brothers apart is the live experience. No two songs are played the same way twice, and no one on stage is locked into a single role. Vocals are traded, instruments are swapped, and solos emerge organically—often from the person you least expect. Adding to the unpredictability, the band frequently brings out surprise featured artists, turning each show into a one-night-only collaboration that rewards the room in real time.
The Erker Brothers don’t just play songs—they play off each other and the moment, creating shows that are as engaging to watch as they are to hear.

Hi ya folks!
It’s been a hot minute and we wanted to catch you up on some of the goings on out here at Cedar Creek. Mainly, how impressive and good looking you are and also how we fared for our Third Annual ‘Music For A Cause’ Festival to benefit Access Academies that was held in late July. We put together a little highlight video to give you a sense of how the day unfolded.
MUSIC FOR A CAUSE
It was a hot one, literally, so we moved all the festivities to our indoor venues where we could pump up the AC. This one change made the unbearable heat (it was north of 100F on the day if you recall) slightly more bearable and we had a tremendous turnout. Each band played a different venue. Starting at Town Hall, the duo Musicology kicked off things with a great set, then folks moved across the street and on to Carriage Hall where solo performer Stephen Wooley filled the room with his sonorous voice and guitar. Finally, closing out the night in absolute raucous stye at the Event Barn was the headliner, Sean Canan’s Voodoo Players. Everyone had a blast and the event was a huge success in support of Access Academies. A big thanks to everyone who came out and donated! Bravo!
CARRIAGE HALL
Hmm, what’s that you say? Carriage Hall? Well, we were hoping you might ask.
Carriage Hall is the newest venue at Cedar Creek and is currently accessed through the Saloon in the Western Town. It’s where the old brewery used to be and where the vintage carriages are kept. We are in the process of transforming it into something special for cocktail parties and will keep you posted on a grand opening in the next few months. Keep your eye on this space because it will be something fun to celebrate!
Hi ya folks!
Thanks to everyone for coming out to our grand re-opening of Town Hall on My 14th! We had a one heck of a shindig and seeing your smiling faces brought joy to ours.
Many of you inquired about our business hours for Town Hall and we wanted to address that here. So pull up a chair and let’s chew the fat shall we?
Town Hall is essentially a “seasonal” restaurant meaning that during our busy time (May through November) we have limited public facing hours while during our slow time (December through April) our restaurant hours are more expansive and open up considerably. The reason being that we want to be able to give you the dining experience you deserve when you come out to Town Hall and have crafted our restaurant hours with that as our guiding principal. We will of course, keep everyone updated if anything changes and to notify you of future events like our monthly Chef Pairings that highlight local vendors and other upcoming and hair-raising hootenannies.
2022 Town Hall Summer & Fall Hours:
Friday Dinner with live music from 5 – 9
Saturday Lunch from 11 – 2
*Sunday Brunch?
While keeping your experience in mind we want to gauge interest on hosting a weekly Sunday brunch.
Chime in if you want to be a part of the Brunch crowd!
See you soon at Town Hall!
We have our next Chef Pairing at Town Hall scheduled for this Sunday, May 22nd from 5 – 8 with Kuenzel Valley Winery. And we’re showing off some pics on Facebook from our inaugural pairing with Paddlestop Brewery in New Haven to give you a feel of what to expect. This month’s paring menu is:
Spinach and apple salad with candied walnuts
Apple wood smoked bay scallops
Fresh apple mulligatawny soup
Braised pork belly with root vegetable and blue cheese mash.
Honey apple bread pudding
Each course will be paired with a wine from Kuenzel Valley Winery to compliment flavors.
There will be limited seating for this and all Chef Pairings so make your reservation today!
